Shipping & Return

Payments will be authorized for the product amount only until we calculate the shipping charges. You will be contacted during our business hours or the next business day regarding the approval of your freight charges.


All shipping totals provided via email or verbally are considered estimates and are not finalized until the order has shipped. Note: Shipping charges will not be processed at a higher amount than the estimate given without contacting you for secondary approval. Shipping charges are typically processed as a separate credit card charge on the original card used for the product purchase. For an exact shipping total before your order being processed, please follow the instructions below.


For an Exact Shipping Rate Before Submitting Your Order, please call us and ask one of our Wall Essentials Experts for assistance with an exact shipping rate. Your order will not be processed, and the credit card charge amount will not be applied until you receive the exact shipping rate. Depending on the items ordered, requesting an exact shipping rate could delay your order processing by 1-3 business days. If we are not contacted by you, the customer, we will assume that the estimated shipping cost is agreeable, ship the order, and charge you accordingly.


If the actual shipping cost of the item(s) is more than the estimated shipping cost, Wall Essentials will notify you before processing and shipping the order.


Wall Essentials will try to ship all orders complete. If some of the items are on backorder, we will hold the order until all items can be shipped together unless you give us approval to do otherwise. Note: Sending back ordered items separately will incur additional shipping charges that will be added to the original freight total. If items in an order are being sent from different distribution centers, they will be sent as they become available. Items from one distribution center will not be held for back-ordered items being sent from another distribution center.

Shipping Charges


At Wall Essentials, product prices will not include export duties, special handling, fuel surcharges, shipping or freight charges, or any taxes regarding the manufacture, sale, or delivery of goods, which will be borne by the customer. Weights and measurements may change later due to supplier and/or changes in packaging.


Shipments shall be made by the most reasonable methods as Wall Essentials shall determine in its sole and absolute discretion. Wall Essentials shall have the sole and absolute discretion to choose:  the carrier. Shipping and delivery dates quoted by Wall Essentials represent estimates only based upon conditions in existence at the time such estimates are made. Wall Essentials shall not be liable for damage resulting from delays or failure to complete the manufacture and delivery of goods, because of difficulty in labor, weather conditions, Acts of God, government acts or regulations, shipping delays, or inability to obtain equipment or material from the sources of supply, or any other cause whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of Wall Essentials. Shipping charges will be charged on all orders placed via the Internet. This will be done after the order is submitted but before the shipment of the order. We use a variety of carriers for every shipping option. Unfortunately, you cannot request which carrier is used at the time of ordering.


Wall Essentials will do its best to determine the closest shipping location to you, the customer, to obtain the lowest shipping rate. Please also note that the shipping rates for items we sell are determined by relative distance and weight.


Back Orders

Wall Essentials does not set or control freight/shipping charges. Wall Essentials does not guarantee delivery times or dates. Delivery times and dates are the responsibility of the shipping agent. Once again, if you need an exact shipping rate, you can contact us.


Returns & Cancellations


You may cancel your order if it isn't delivered within 72 hours of ordering it. Note: Most in-stock items are processed and mailed out within 24 hours of an order being placed.


As a result, the majority of the products that we sell on our website—including large items like countertops, light boxes, Slatwall, cabinets for Slatwall, apparel displays, showcases, and custom-ordered items—cannot be returned. Call us for information on our return policy. Please carefully consider your purchase before ordering.


Wall Essentials does not guarantee delivery times or delivery dates. The shipping agent is responsible for delivery times and dates. As such, delivery times or delivery dates become no valid grounds for returning any merchandise already shipped, considered non-returnable, or requested to be canceled more than 72 hours after the date an order has been placed.


For merchandise that is returnable, returns must be made within 10 business days of the date of the invoice. No exceptions shall be made on the date. Returned items must be in the original cartons and in new condition to receive credit.



Shipping Damages or Shortages at Wall Essentials


At Wall Essentials, customer satisfaction is the top priority; thus, we make sure that orders are safe and in their best condition upon reaching you, and, upon delivery, it shall be your duty to inspect the goods for any damages or shortages. If you notice any issues, please contact Wall Essentials within 72 hours to report product shortages or to initiate an inspection of the damage with our delivery partners. It’s important not to dispose of any shipping boxes or packing materials, as these will be needed for inspection and claims processing.


Wall Essentials does not accept responsibility for shipping damage on freight trucked shipments. When filing a claim, damaged products must be reported to the carrier. Additionally, check your package before accepting it and signing the delivery receipt. If damage is not documented on the bill of lading, the carrier should not be held liable. Claims for hidden damage shall also be rejected, and all cartons and packing materials shall be retained for inspection.


Please be aware that the common carrier only delivers to the truck's tailgate when it comes to freight truck deliveries. It is your responsibility to move your product into your building; however, you can pay for inside delivery. If you require a lift gate for easier unloading, please indicate this upon ordering.
